Harmon Mark Bell was given a name and a blessing on August 26, 2012. Doesn't he look handsome?

Raquel and Caroline. . .loved this picture!
This is one of my favorites, too! Grammy Kremin and Caroline having fun together. I think this picture captures the love between a Grandma and her grandchild--pure JOY! Thanks, Mark and Colette for helping the Bells move from DC to Michigan! (Dig the red boots, Auntie Cami sent them from Texas)
From Michigan to the mountains of Utah. . .
Renee invites Laureen and I to her cabin once in a while to sew, talk and eat! Here is what we saw on the way up the road to the cabin. . .
Yes, a bull moose walked right across the road in front of us. The picture is a little blurry because I was taking it from inside the car. I was actually glad I was IN my car, and not just walking along outside! My dad tells a story of how he met up with a mama moose on a hunting trip in Wyoming. Glad he is still alive to tell the tale!
Guess he was just thirsty!
Three machines set up and ready to rumble!
This is Renee who so generously invited us to her cabin. She made this darling fall quilt. All she needs to do to finish is applique the stems on the pumpkins!
Laureen started her king-size bed quilt and had to make blocks with the dreaded "Y" seams. She started with the hard part first, for sure!
I worked on a pattern called "Swoon". These blocks are 24" square! HUGE!
Here are Laureen's "Y" seam blocks completed.
Renee had done a block of the month quilt all year long. She decided to put it together while we were there. The theme was Japanese blocks and fabrics. A perfect gift for her sister who went on a mission to Japan. Very different but cool looking blocks!
Here is my swoon quilt all finished. . .I decided it was big enough for a wall hanging to do 4 blocks instead of the 9 the pattern suggested! Whew!
The other 6 blocks for Laureens' quilt. When she puts them together, she will use an Irish Chain setting. It will be stunning!
I also made two pillows for the couch in the TV room, 3 outdoor pillows for next summer and the borders and back for a Valentine wall hanging! I was sad when I realized I didn't get any pictures of me or Laureen! Oh well, next year!
Handsome TJ was the next photo on the camera, with his long eyelashes and bubbles! Blissfully sleeping!
